Pina Colada Juice
Juice desired amount of pineapple and combine with equal parts fresh coconut water.
The potassium in this drink makes for an excellent post workout rehydration. In addition, the coconut seems to balance the slightly acidic effect pineapple juice has. Although some people report digestive discomfort when consuming pineapple, the enzyme bromelin found in pineapple is known to improve digestive function. For those who suffer from discomfort, I suggest starting with very little pineapple and slowly introducing more as your body adjusts. Pineapple juice might be easier to digest than pineapple pieces due to most of the insoluble fiber being removed through the juicing process. Also, a small amount of ginger added to this juice might help ease any possible digestive discomfort. As always, consult your primary care physician and do not try anything that you are uncomfortable with consuming. This information is merely a suggestion and not intended to be medical advice.

· 12-16 ounces of coconut water
To make it creamy:
· ½ cup of coconut manna (from the inside of a coconut or find it in jars at health food stores), or
· 4-8 ounces of coconut milk, almond milk, soymilk, etc.
If you like it sweet:
· Add agave or honey to taste, or
· 1 pear (no skin) or 1 kiwi
As always, experiment and enjoy!
