Off the Grid!
So, it’s happy train month which is why you have been getting little surprises in your boxes. In honor of this, I am going to do something incredible crazy, slightly insane but oh so wonderful. I am going to take a vacation. I am not going anywhere exotic but I will be having adventures. My little Fiona has the week off school so I am going to turn off my phone (gasp), shut down the laptop and give her my attention. The plan is to color, laugh and cook. (My brother brought me 5lbs of lard, some pumpkins, and walnuts from the farm the other day so I am going to make pie. Lots and lots of pie.) There you have it- coloring and pie.
What does this mean for you? Well, it means that the superstar team will be taking care of you. Be good children for the babysitters will you? Ashley will appreciate it and so will I.
Next week I am bringing in the calvary to help put the box contents together and write the newsletter. You will be hearing from none other than Mr. Wayne the Amazing. Who is he? Well, it’s a long story but I will give you the condensed version.
There are only a few people in the country that I know I trust to step in and speak to our farmers, put together the box contents and write this very witty (ok, maybe not) and grammatically incorrect newsletter. Wayne is one of them. He used to work for me years and years ago and made me a proud mama when he started his own company in California. He also is the brains behind our software. Between him, Ashley, Matthew and a few other behind the scenes superstars I promise you that you’ll never know I am gone. (But humor me, and pretend like you missed me when I get back, ok?)
