Morning Juice and Smoothie Recipes (carrot orange ginger & cacao raspberry)

This week’s juice and smoothie recipes will have your mornings off to a fabulous start!
Do you like zesty orange juice in the morning to jump start your day? Try this carrot-orange juice with a kick of vitamin C for immunity and retinol/carotene for glowing skin. It is truly sunshine in a glass! If you like ginger, adding it will add a boost of immunity and help promote digestive health.
½ inch knuckle of ginger (if desired)
Cacao Raspberry Protein Smoothie
In my opinion, there is nothing better than chocolate in the morning (or anytime for that matter)! This smoothie will give you the energy and protein you need to get you going and keep you full throughout the morning. In my opinion, this smoothie tastes just like raspberries dipped in chocolate!
½ cup frozen raspberries (or strawberries)
3 tablespoons of Nutiva Hemp Protein Powder (or correct serving of another protein supplement)
3 tablespoons of organic raw cacao powder
2 cups of almond milk
-if using fresh berries add in a few ice cubes
-if you do not have cacao powder, Nutiva makes a Chocolate Hemp Protein Powder
-for an added boost of energy, break open a B-Complex capsule and add in
-if you like it sweet, add a splash of fruit juice or 1-2 tablespoons of honey/agave
