Meet Adam the Paleo!
Meet our newest blogger and your fellow customer Adam. He’s hilarious! The asparagus picture is inside joke to me. The caption said “Does this asparagus look over cooked?” That is because I had company last week and over cooked the asparagus. I got mad skills to be able to overcook asparagus. Be jealous. teheehee.
Hello Space Girls!
(Or guys really but let’s face it… this is Space Girl Organics!)
So last week there I was minding my own business and BAM! The weekly newsletter comes through with a rare deal…
I’m sure its obvious by now but; I will blog for food.
Let me take a minute to introduce myself. I am Adam Fatka and have been enjoying Space Girl Organics produce since back when it was Fresh Box Organics. New name; same great service! I currently live in Winter Springs where I teach CG Modeling at Full Sail University. As far as food goes I follow a ‘paleo style’ diet eating 100% gluten free, primarily organic and/or grass-fed/pastured foods. I also enjoy the occasional local farmers market or gluten-free cuisine.
In my posts I’ll be touching, primarily, on Paleo lifestyles but there will be an occasional recipe, foodie fact, or restaurant review.
So what is all this ‘Paleo’ stuff about anyway?
Paleo typically refers to one of the many flavors of a lifestyle structured around the ancestral health movement that is currently sweeping the nation. Basically they take queues from our history as a species as well as scientific studies to determine what types of foods we should be eating; as well as what types of ‘foods’ we should avoid, in order to be the most healthful versions of ourselves.
In my next post we’ll dive a little deeper into just what types of foods might be included into a Paleo Diet.
Peace and Produce,
Adam Fatka
