These are kiwi berries! If you haven’t had them, then you need to try them. If you have had them, then you are probably on my kiwi berry stalker list (you know who you are!!!). They are awesome! The outside is similar to a grape and the inside looks like a kiwi.
These are only available for a short time each year normally late September through the first few weeks of October.
They are grown in Pennsylvania, Oregon and Washington state.
If you are getting them, please wait until they look old and shriveled. Almost like they should be thrown out because that is when they are the sweetest. Of course, you can eat them before that time, but they won’t be nearly as sweet.
