Food Husband!

September 15, 2012** Lucinda, - New Products Standard

This is my husband Josh.

Psych! I don’t actually have a husband, but we won’t go there.

We  share a mutual love affair with food, and therefore he has been dubbed my “food husband.”

Josh and I became friends through Mr. King Carnivore. They are best friends, I dare say. They like to get together and talk about smoking meat and drink fancy beers.

Anyway, Josh is awesome. He has a kitchen complete with a cast iron collection that makes me jealous, and knives that just make you want to chop and dice and cook! Then of course, he has his meat smoker, in which he makes UH-mazing stuff . Oh, and did I mention he makes his own cheese?

Josh likes to listen to cooking shows and pod casts about food. From a podcast is where he learned about salt, and I learned about salt from him.

Now, I just love when someone asks me to pass the salt. I always respond with “what kind?”

Now, you can too. We have salt available in all different kinds. White, red, black, smoked. It is a amazing how when you start with good quality ingredients and cook something without much fuss, something as simple as a different salt takes a dish to entire new level.

If you are going for the “WOW” factor, I would suggest the black or red. They give you a mind trip thinking they are pepper when they are actually salt.

Cheers and Happy Eats!

Lucinda
