Crock Pot Spaghetti Squash
A guest post from Christine Fontanin:
Spaghetti Squash can be used as a healthy side dish or a lower glycemic and low calorie replacement to pasta. Each cup of spaghetti squash has 8 net grams of carbs and only 42 calories. Preparing spaghetti squash in a crock pot is very simple.
(1) Wash and cut the spaghetti squash in half and remove the seeds and place it face down in the slow cooker. Add a few inches of water.
(2) Cook on low for 5 hours. Using a fork, remove the spaghetti strands from the squash to a plate. Top the spaghetti squash with meat sauce and serve.
