Central Brevard Sharing Center: Item of the Week Recipient (March 2, 2014)

 

The week of March 2, 2014, we are collecting new and gently used shoes for the Central Brevard Sharing Center.  If you would like to give any shoes to them, please leave the shoes out for us on your delivery day. When we drop off your produce, we will pick the shoes up and get them distributed to school children in need.

Every Step Counts; the Sharing Center’s annual shoe drive, recently got a major boost from workers at the Space Center.  The Sharing Center is hoping others will follow in their footsteps and help the Sharing Center provide shoes to each school child in need. It’s important today that kids start school feeling good about themselves. Not all families have the funds for back ­to ­school shoes and this program helps to fill that void.
