Blood Orange French Toast
A guest post from our customer Sara Ann:
Mix in a bowl:
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/8 -1/4 cup real maple syrup (how sweet would you like it?)
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
About 2 tablespoons blood orange juice (squeeze a half)
Directions:
Dip both sides of sliced bread into bowl (the best is day-old baguette). Fry bread on both sides in a non-stick skillet on medium heat until slightly browned and not soft (you will need to flip the bread).
Serve immediately with more real maple syrup.
