Blessing Bags for Nemours Children’s Hospital

During the next several weeks, we will be collecting donation items for children who are patients at Nemours Hospital in Orlando.  Nemours is a non-profit children’s health organization that is committed to improving the health of children.  The hospital has patients who are chronically ill as well as children there for day clinics.

If you would like to donate any items, please leave the items out for us on your delivery day. We will pick the items up when we drop off your produce.  Due to the delicate health of many of the patients, the donated items must be new and in original packaging.  All of the items donated will be used to make “blessing bags” for the children.  At the end of September, we will organize a packing party to assemble the blessing bags.

Being a patient is stressful for the children. These blessing bags take just a little of that stress away.  It gives the children something to look forward to!
